Root cause analysis with Leeds Community Foundation

Fluid delivered a free review to help this vital Yorkshire charity improve processes and make efficiencies in time and resources.

Leeds Community Foundation (LCF) works together with partners to create positive change with the communities that need it the most, by investing funding and expertise to build a better future now. In 2017/18 LCF distributed more than £3.3 million. 100,000 people benefitted from 615 grants.

“Working with Fluid has been an eye opener. They’ve supported us in examining and fully understanding our current processes and have helped us see where improvements and efficiencies can be made and offered solutions as to how that can happen – and their friendly team actually managed to make this fun!”

Simone Ivatts, Leeds Community Foundation

A commitment to continuous improvement

LCF has a commitment to keeping their core costs low, so they can distribute more in funds. We saw an opportunity to help improve efficiency and streamline operations as the charity’s reach expands.

Maximising existing technology

Fluid facilitated a one-day Root Cause Analysis workshop. Working in partnership with LCF, Fluid focused in on visibility of resource, capacity and planning, cross-team communication and maximising their existing technology. The independent evaluation presented the detailed findings and recommendations for next steps.

Improving process efficiency

Simone Ivatts said, “We anticipate that our team will have much improved internal communications and that the streamlined processes Fluid IT are helping us to introduce will save us lots of time and effort.”
